The owner of this stunning contemporary home chose a stylish finish for the stairwell. Instead of plain, flat walls, she added the textural element of 3D wall panels in the classic Ripples design. Finished in crisp white, the panels add a subtle elegance which complements the modern decor.

This stunning kitchen has several eyecatching features in the form of cabinet doors and island benchfront made from “Ripples” design wall panels.

Note that when the panels are made into doors, they should be ordered in 25mm thickness to allow for drilling of the hinge holes on the reverse side. Also note that the larger the doors the more they may be prone to bowing due to the amount of machining on the surface of the board. Therefore we recommend when making panels into doors, keep them small!

A stunning new spa recently opened in Camden NSW. An atmosphere of relaxed opulence where clients can feel, as well as be pampered, was what owner Ashleigh Kajan wanted to create.

“I wanted my clients to feel totally pampered in a gorgeous setting. I didn’t want them to feel like they were visiting just another beauty salon, which often has very plain walls. Everyone always comments on the walls in a very positive way. We wouldn’t have a spa retreat if it wasn’t for the wall panels.

The panels have the added benefit of naturally guiding the clients from the reception area to the treatment rooms. This wouldn’t have been achieved so subtly by any other means. They definitely have a natural flow about them.”

Having a short lead time and using made Australian materials, means that 3D Wall Panels can deliver very quickly. This enabled Ashleigh and her team to paint the walls in a beautiful Dulux Pearl finish and open Eden Spa for business in record time.

Ripples at Highland Property Agents

When Highland Property Agents relocated to their new offices in Cronulla, they decided to totally refit the interior. The results were a stunning new look which provides a ‘fresh’ and relaxed office space for staff and visitors alike.

The extensive feature wall in the reception and boardroom serves as a luxurious backdrop for the company logo and further enhances the company brand.

The horizontal orientation of the pattern on the panels, dramatically maximises the 3D effect. It does this by increasing the shadows cast by the overhead lighting on the protruding sections of the pattern.

To create the desired ‘seamless’ look, the panels were installed, then the joints were puttied over and painted. The panels even wrap seamlessly around corners, providing even more aesthetically pleasing features in the office space.

The Ripples design has an organic look about it and in combination with the earthy colours chosen for its finish, the overall impression is a very natural one.

The client brief was to bring elements of the outdoors into the interior design. We wanted to add interest, texture and earthy colours. While searching for an Australian supplier we found 3D Wall Panels. They were easy to design around and easy to use according to interior designer Sandy Schubert.

DJM Wood Products, the shop fitters who installed the panels, organised for the panels, bulkheads and edge trims to be sprayed in the polyurethane finish specified. They exhibited a high level of expertise, installing the panels and custom making the recessed alcove displaying the company logo.

Ripples design 3D wall panels form an attractive, textured backdrop for the company logo. With “Ripples” panels lining the otherwise plain columns, the entrances into the company meeting rooms are transformed into an impressive feature.

The reception area is given an opulent, yet natural feel with neutral colours and texture.

Brent found 3D Wall Panels™ on the internet and decided that they’d suit his needs perfectly. “To tackle the issue of creating a cost-effective and attractive feature wall and divider options, we mounted the ‘Ripples’ wall panels on the back of storage cupboards, effectively hiding their backs and negating the need to build new walls.”

The results have sent ‘Ripples’ of envy through the office complex. “There has been an enormous response to the feature walls from passers-by. Also, the staff in the offices opposite us, have complained that their offices don’t look as good.”

“The client wanted a clean and simple but classy design without adding too many furnishings. 3D wall panels turned out to be the hero in the room” said Rochelle Taylor of Dentec Australia, a leading provider of design, fit out and equipment solutions for healthcare professionals.

Designer Callum Lui of Clui Urban Retail Design specified the Ripples design 3D wall panels for the stunning Beach House Bar & Grill renovation. The wall panels added the desired level of texture and interest, which has become a talking point among the patrons of this popular Brisbane CBD establishment.

Installation was taken care of by Excel Shopfitters, who also handled the finishing in white gloss 2 pack polyurethane. The panels were mitre joined around several internal and external corners and a door cut into them, which shows the versatility of the panels as well as the skill of the shopfitter.

Ripples by Better Homes and Gardens

Architect Philip Lance specified the 3D wall panel Ripples design, to be used on several feature walls in a luxury Birchgrove residential refurbishment. The results were so stunning that they came to the attention of the Better Homes and Gardens team who decided to feature them in a segment/ edition of the TV show and magazine.

Rob Palmer of Better Homes and Gardens hosted the segment, showing how to “turn a boring wall into brilliant. Nothing screams zero personality like a big blank wall” he said.

Here at the David Jones Canberra Centre, they are used as a series of artworks mounted within recessed niches. The result is an interesting and stylish wall that can be gazed upon whilst ascending or descending the escalators.

Sam, the owner of the Lakes Health Fitness Lifestyle, fitness centre is passionate about exercise and wellness. He is equally passionate about his business and decided on a refit of the gym to create a dynamic and energetic environment. He liked the lively effect of 3D wall panels and decided on the “Ripples” design.

The do it yourself option meant that Sam was in control of the cost, timing and details of the fitout. The panels were painted on site in a vibrant white and these together with the bright red chairs and vivid graphics created a lively and energetic atmosphere conducive to motivation in the gym.

Sam was extremely pleased with the results. He now has the wow factor he was after and it didn’t cost him the earth. No more flat and boring walls, with 3D Wall Panels!
